Fics like Inner Sanctity

“You are special, my child. You are loyal, and you will find as much love in the world as you give to me," the Tsaritsa had said all those years ago, voice soft and light as she had continued to stroke his hair gently. "Do not disappoint me." Teyvat had once produced two renowned generals from different nations, who rose to prominence fighting side by side against the Abyssal Order. General Tartaglia of the Fatui Harbinger’s and his closest companion and comrade, General Rex Lapis of Liyue. Rex Lapis was beloved by his soldiers and his people for his long row of victories for his country, that is, until he shocked the alliance and his home by turning traitor to abandon his post. Years later, although the war wages on, only one General fights along the Northern Frontier. When an amnesiac Rex Lapis is brought back to Liyue, both the public and General Tartaglia call for vengeance. Is Zhongli’s return a signal to the end of the war? Or is there something more at play? Childe won’t stop until he’s found the truth, even if it ends up tearing him to pieces. ON INDEFINITE HIATUS
