Fics like For Want of a Savior

This universe is completely different from his own; yet, in many respects, it's the same in the ways that matter. The Red Hood finds a broken bird in an abandoned wing of Arkham Asylum and rescues him. He doesn't expect for the bird to grow attached, or for him to do the same. Basically, post-UtRH Jason gets punted into the Arkham-verse and, upon seeing Arkham Jason, goes "Is anyone gonna save him or am I gonna have to do it myself?" while completely disregarding the fact that he's a complete disaster himself.
