Fics like Some Rain Must Fall

If someone had told Lucy MacLean a month ago that she was going to be traveling across the surface with an irradiated bounty hunter who had nearly drowned her and tried to sell her for drug money, in order to find her father, who it turned out had destroyed an entire community in a jealous rage... She would have wondered who had put drugs in their jello cake. So the fact that that is exactly where she is finding herself has her head in a spin. The world is nothing like she thought it would be, and everything she feared it could be, but she can't go back to her Vault without answers, and the mysterious ghoul bounty hunter is her best bet for finding the source of those answers. It's time to meet her makers. And if the changing dynamic with her new guide happens to give her more questions along the way? Well, Lucy has always relished a challenge.
