Fics like Project Black Pearl

The first word is not in a language they both know, but it’s obvious what it says: Project Black Pearl. “This is so cool…” Floyd whispers to himself excitedly as he quickly opens the folder, not caring what the meaning of the project could be. Inside, there are reports written in the same unfamiliar language. But what catches Jade’s attention is the photograph. It is obviously very old. The edges have yellowed with age and the photo had been taken in black and white. Floyd notices as well and carefully picks up the photo. The photo is of a boy who appears to be around their age. He has short, wavy hair and a small scar on the bridge of his nose. He isn’t smiling. His eyes look empty. Or: The Winter Soldier story you most definitely were not looking for but happened upon anyway.
