Fics like Journey of a lifetime

NATM pokemon AU! Jedediah Smith decides to become a pokemon trainer! He's ecstatic to get on his own exploring the world and beating gym trainers. The bad thing is that annoying trainer's son following him Gaius Octavius was always planned to be a pokemon trainer, he's the son of a gym leader, after all. He's trying his best and keeps running into the guy who hates him the most, maybe he could try being friends? (P.S! I haven't watched the anime or played the games in years so it's a sort of mishmash of the two so if anything isn't canon compliant please try your best to either tell me how to improve or ignore it completely lol, is this niche? Yes. But if I don't write this will I explode? Also yes Now off hiatus!
