Fics like A spider trapped in a cobweb

Peter Parker regrets going to Doctor strange for help after Mysterio outed his identity to the world. Now he was trapped in a different universe, where he does not legally exist. There are also weird vigilantes here, who seem to be stalking him. Will Spider-man make an appearance? Or will Peter not last long enough in Gotham to make that decision? - At Least it isn't painful, Peter thinks as he shuts his eyes, his senses going into overdrive. When he can no longer hold himself up, he allows his body to fall to the floor. He can hear a faint voice in the distance, trying to reach him. As a last act of defiance, he tunes into the voice. The last thing he can make out before falling unconscious is Doctor Strange's voice. “I’m sorry kid. This was the only way.”
