Fics like Memories of darkness

Walter Strickler, as far as he knows, is just an ordinary man. So ordinary it seems painful. He teaches history at the local high school, is married to the love of his life, Barbara, and is raising his son Jim, as well as his surrogate son Toby, who lives next door. A caring family man and father, who no one has a single mean thing to say about. Though there are parts of his past that Walter Strickler does not remember. Suddenly at night, horrible images enter his mind. That of creatures, of roars and blood, he dreams he has claws and people screaming at the mere sight of him. Then other strange things starts happening, Walters son is acting weird, his head aches and odd visions grow worse. And Walter starts believing he does not want to remember, but does he have a any choice?
