Fics like nooooooo dont drink the wiiuice !!1!

Despite all their trials and tribulations, the ups and downs, all the pain and misfortune and suffering, they did it. They won the baseball world cup. Pipe heaved out a sigh of relief, collapsing onto the cold grass of the stadium, the mounting fear and dread suddenly dissipating as if it was never there. What happened..? Is it over..? His memory was fuzzy, eyes seeing double as he stared out to the crowded field- likely overexertion from his pitching, he told himself. The stadium went dead silent, tension in the air sickeningly thick. Not a word was spoken while the scoreboard flashed numbers and painful neon hues upon all. "We... we made it!" Xavier wheezed out, his hoarse voice rang clear all the way to the quiet stands of miis watching with bated breath. Everyone burst into cheers, even the critics who'd jeered and booed them till the very end. Tears pricked the corner of his eyes more times than he could count in this tournament, but these, quite rarely for him, were tears of unbridled joy. Through the sobs that wracked his body to his very core, a hand landed firmly on his shoulder. "You did good," said Engineroom, voice brimming with exhaustion and pride, "all of you. How about we celebrate?"
