Fics like aposematism (warning coloration)

In the aftermath of Order 66, Obi-Wan Kenobi makes a choice. There’s no time to grieve. The Jedi may be gone, but Anakin is still here, sparking like a livewire, ticking in the Force like a bomb teetering on the edge of detonation. He knows him, more intimately than he knows himself. Under Sidious’ cruel grasp, he will wilt. Under his gentle hand, he will blossom. It reeks of attachment. It’s hardly even a decision. It’s hardly a decision, refusing to go to Mustafar. It’s hardly a decision, breaking into the Emperor’s chambers in the middle of the night. When he watches Sheev Palpatine’s head topple to the blood-red carpet, he feels nothing. It was hardly even a decision. Democracy does not die with thunderous applause. It dies with whispered suggestions and a wave of Obi-Wan's hand. Five years later, Galactic Emperor Obi-Wan Kenobi has ushered in an unprecedented era of peace and prosperity, and there's a gala to celebrate. Drinks are flowing, diplomats are dancing, and Anakin is bored. He hates parties, always has. He’s all dressed up in Obi-Wan's colors, and he hasn’t even looked at him once. Oh well. He’ll just have to show his husband exactly what he’s missing out on.
