Fics like You're the sun in my life

"Ok, so the sun is technically a large fireball, right. What if it gave Nika also some control over fire? So we're in Marineford, Luffy has Ace in his arms when he hears a whisper of 'ignite' echte through his head. Out of it as he is he leans into that and speaks the words making Ace ignite himself. Freaking him out, even dying, he would never do anything to harm Luffy. But Luffy's smiling and giggling, not at all hurt. Also, he can feel himself *healing* like nothing ever happened. Leaving him sitting there looking at Luffy as his body closes as if nothing ever happened. Everyone is freaking out by now, yet when the flames dissapear there is Ace standing all fine with Luffy in his arms. Turning to Marco whose closest with this lost look in his eyes. 'i don't know what happened.' Marco doesn't know either, but he doesn't care since Ace lived. He scurries them away towards the Moby. Yanking Oyaji with him as they make it out of there. Only talking about that once they are underwater on their way to the New World."
