Fics like I have no mouth, but I must-

Boothill lost all of himself when his body was replaced with metal and wires. When an enemy strike destroys his framework and leaves him facing death- or it's analog- once again, he finds someone there by his side, and more than willing to help him find that humanity buried deep within. Or, alternatively, the one where Argenti shoves his hand up Boothill's chest and strokes his nerve cable until the cyborg gets off. Now with a sequel~ Argenti and Boothill spend a little more time with each other, learning the bounds of Boothill's anatomy and finding workarounds to get closer in spite of the distance and obstacles before them. Their paths will diverge, with no guarantee to cross once again... but sweet touches and a heartfelt promise can make the road less lonely.
