"Sunny? Are you okay?" A creak of the table under added weight. "Ooh, you're texting someone?" Guess her lit-up screen must have more-than-hinted this to her mother. No point in hiding it - not that there was any reason to hide it. Unless the pink-haired girl(whom Sunny was pretty sure was the one who texted her just now) was an actual criminal, possibly unknown to Sunny herself. "They texted me first," replied Sunny curtly, afrer taking a deep breath, pressing the power button on her phone to turn it off. She glanced down at her rice, nearly finished. Just as she dragged her fork across the plate to move the rice grains around, another electronic buzz interrupted, nearly shaking the table. - Aubrey was definitely someone Sunny wouldn’t have wanted to hang out with or bond with, one-on-one. Not without Basil, at least. Or not without bringing up the eggs, which was how they even KNEW each other in the first place. They were in the same boat, after all. That changed one day when Sunny happened to get a text from an unknown number. Scratch that, a BUNCH of texts at once.
