Fics like city of stars
"The room seemed to black out completely, and the only two variables that Rui was aware of was himself and the pianist. In his head, he could almost picture a spotlight, dazzling in the darkness, shining down onto him. And Rui himself…a similar light, like his, one that guides him to become part of this man’s spotlight. To join him in his glow. He needed to speak to that guy - say something, anything, and he didn’t know why he wanted to, but he just felt…he just…just felt -" - Everyone has a dream. Rui Kamishiro's is to become a stage director. Tsukasa Tenma's is to become a "star pianist", whatever that means. When two artists find themselves consistently bumping into each other, an odd connection begins to form between them, despite them getting off on the wrong foot at first. But, the question that burns deep within both young men is: will intertwining their fates end up being a blessing to their lives, or a curse? - Or, a La La Land (2016) x Project SEKAI AU, where Rui and Tsukasa take the place of Mia and Sebastian (you don't have to have watched La La Land to understand this fic, it works as a standalone).
