Fics like Sweet and Sour Umeboshi

A once-in-a-lifetime school trip to Kitakami awards Juliana with brand new experiences when she meets a shy boy named Kieran and his extremely pretty, complicated sister Carmine. Though Juliana and Carmine don't see eye-to-eye at first, their adventures bring them deeper in each other's hearts than they'd ever imagined. A retelling of "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" with a Juliana/Carmine romantic angle that starts out faithful but gradually diverges with new story beats and expanded character development.
