Fics like I'll Keep The King

When Shanks had his crew dock in a sleepy little village in the East Blue, he had intended for it to only be a short stop before venturing on to fulfil his Captain's last request. He had intended to get supplies, get drunk, and leave again, staying no longer than a day. He had not intended on staying for a year. He certainly had not intended on gaining a son. Or: a selection of moments throughout Shanks' stay at Dawn Island which highlighted the unwitting bond between himself and his beloved Anchor. (Alternate Title: A Year in Foosha) (Alternate alternate Title: My Contribution to the 'Shanks as a Parent' tag)
