Fics like Crashing Waves and Bloody Sand

Spoilers for DRA ahead ___________________________ ~ Tsurugi Kinjo does not get to see his friend's face replace Monokuma's on the screen. He doesn't witness Rei and Teruya coming back to themselves. He can't flee from the courtroom beside them as Akane Taira bleeds out on the floor. And when the helicopter lifts off, he isn't onboard. Instead, he is left behind. ~ Tsurugi wakes to find himself still trapped on the island they vowed to escape from together. A castaway. However, he isn't alone. Whether that is lucky, or unlucky, remains to be seen... ______________________________ Two people are left alone together after the events of the killing game finally conclude. One finally without the curse that defined him, and the other broken, battered, and alone. Both are haunted by the past, yet long for something that they surely don't deserve to have. This story takes place not long after the the conclusion of the killing game. For the most part, that ending is the same as in canon. Except for a few changes which lead to the events in this story.
