Fics like Nostalgic Deja Vu

Another SOUL is added to the collected collection of many more; the monsters rejoice in their progression to freedom. But only a handful know of the tragedy behind their success, mourning the loss of a life that's already deemed forgotten. They don't even know the child's name, do they? Only until then, Monsterkind remains and waits for the last SOUL to be collected, questioning and guessing how time will pass until their freedom is within reach. They come with their name being 'Frisk'. The last human to fall, and the one to rekindle their hope. An AU "what-if" scenario where Frisk spends a little more time in the Underground during a True-Pacifist Route, or on-route towards one. Some Monsters just can't help but gossip about humans, can they? And it seems the ones in Hotland like to chat about a specific human in an area Frisk has yet to see.
