Fics like Choose Life

It's heroin time, and the world's going down in flames. To paraphrase Chuck Palahniuk, "I felt like destroying something beautiful." If you were waiting for that sweet toxicity, get your spoons ready. It's mostly snippets of an emotional descent within one specific relationship. The timeline of this chapter aligns with the first movie timeline. ˜˜˜ "Yer heart is racin' 'cause it widens yer blood vessels," says Sick Boy, who is apparently a drug scientist now. "This drops yer blood pressure, and that's why ye're feelin' the buzz. Also, makes yer muscles relax, makin' everything smoother. Perfect fur anal sex." "Fuck aff," says Renton. Sick Boy is not deterred. "Why?" he says seductively as he leans closer and starts kissing Rentont's neck, giving him goosebumps, "Ah've got lube an' aw. Ah know ye want it." Yeah, but not with this version of you, thinks Renton. "Simon, no," he says instead.
