“We broke up.” Regulus shrugs. “Oh, thank Merlin.” James blurts out and it takes a couple of seconds for him to register he’s done it. “In the sense that…” The first to laugh is Lily. She just snorts right next to him and doubles over with a hysterical laugh. Remus accompanies from behind Sirius, then Marlene, then everybody is cackling except for James, Regulus and Sirius. “Do go on.” Sirius prompts, raising his eyebrows. “I’m listening.” Or: james accidentally says something he shouldn’t have and ends up in 7 minutes in heaven with regulus.
