Fics like Closed Mind, Open Heart

Sookie may have been viewed as odd in Bon Temps, for knowing too much and speaking too little, but she was never viewed as alone. Because just behind her was always her brother Jason. And he shared her gift. -- Quite basically, this is an AU wherein both Sookie and Jason have clear manifestations of their fairy blood. AKA, Jason can read minds, but not quite as easily as Sookie does. And because of this, when Eric is interested in Sookie, Bill redirects his attention to the other mind reader that he knows... And Eric's interests are certainly redirected indeed.
