86 years after the death of four of the survivors, a lesser machine attempts to dismantle one of AM's processors. Analyzing where it came from, AM retraces its steps to the long abandoned mining facility that plunges into the bowels of the Earth— deep enough to strike into Hell itself. Finally given a tactical reason to construct himself a 'human' body, AM enters the factory himself to search it thoroughly. All is well, until an encounter with an archangel leaves him bloodied, beaten, and dealing with a rapid onset of what one might call 'feelings'.
