Fics like Seas and Spirits

Zuko knows his father does not believe the Avatar is alive, he does not truly expect him to find them. He's being punished for his disrespect, for not living up to what his father demands. He might deserve it, but he won't spend his life looking for someone who hasn't existed in nearly one hundred years. If he's going to be a disappointment, he may as well do what he pleases, and if that means joining a pirate crew, chasing some spirits and blowing up whatever Fire Navy harbors are on the way, so be it. -or- A few months after Zuko's banishment he finds himself on a pirate ship. ____ Sokka/Zuko is endgame, but it's the slowest of slow burns. MCD is not either of them. There are original characters, I promise they don’t suck — I’m also apprehensive about ocs in fanfic but hopefully you end up loving them as much as I do —
