Fics like Spectacle of love.
And somehow, Kohane knew she was shattering. She knew she was breaking into pieces, thirteen years of pressure and that ugly, horrible feeling of not belonging choking and scalding her finally having the best of her. She laid there, shaking, an unraveled mess of social anxiety and awkwardness, and for once in her life she felt colorful. Red with shame, livid with the pain that thrummed through her entire body, but even so, it was merely a filter: she was still transparent, only her and herself privy to her pathetic breakdown, a star exploding into a myriad of scorching atoms. Did she not deserve to be loved like everyone else? Or, Kohane has always been lonely, drifting through life as she struggles to find people who truly love her, thinking of herself as a boring show of grays, black and whites. That is, until three young musicians barge into her life and paint it in a beautiful spectacle, determined to teach her what love feels like...
