Fics like More Than Empty Servitude | Part I

You’ve been a Senate commando for years, but ever since the war began three months ago, things have been different. You've always felt it- this urge to do more. You’ve just never known what to do with it until now. So, you're enlisting in the Grand Army of the Republic, even if it’s the last thing you do. OR: An immersive dive into The Clone Wars from the front lines POV. Sticks heavily to the canon timeline & events with a sprinkle of legends lore, added non-canon adventures, and so much feel-good fluff. A slow burn with eventual Rex/Reader romance. Themes of friendship, family, finding purpose in life, fighting for clone rights, and the fear of losing the ones you love most. For more summary & details, see Ch 1 Author Notes. Starts just after the Malevolence Arc (TCW early season 1) Ends late-season 3.
