Fics like The Acceptance of Adulthood

"I still hate the idea of adulthood. Why did you have to discard your childhood self before becoming an adult?" Finn is 18. However, he creates stories and plays with his Legos even after all these years with his younger sister, Bianca. A few months ago, he developed a new condition that caused him to faint and have nightmares frequently; he turned to his toys to cope with the fear of growing up. One day, he discovers something magical: the Lego figurines are alive! His heroes are actually here; Emmet is here! But with a new villain endangering them all and threatening their lives, how can Finn accept the fact that he is growing up?
