Fics like On my darkest night

Richard cant help what his mind chooses to torture him with on a good day but its no longer day and hes never had any good days. Hes turned out every coat and trouser pocket in the search for thr small pills he relies on but in his search only managed to make a mess. In a fruitless desperation he even tried the magazine methods yet every aid that they claim will help him sleep are useless to the chronic insomniac so he waits biding his time hoping that he can hide from the figures that linger on the edge of his vision. Its a futile attempt though cause richard has never been able to hide from the shadows. Or in simple words richards insomnia gets so bad due to running out of pills that he finds himself in a long episode of paranoia and hallucinations locked in henrys room.
