Fics like Mending

She doesn’t quite know how to look him in the eye this time round. Her chest is heaving, and she cannot quite bring herself to process the words he has said in fit of induced rage, cannot quite believe that it is him saying this to her, after everything they’ve been through, after everything she has done for him, after everything she has sacrificed for him. OR Because even when she is angry at him, she still loves him. And he will do anything to fix what he broke, because he is in love with her. (Season 5 compliant with a slight stray from Canon.)
