Fics like homesick, heartsick

He’d rather be /home/. That thought sends a sudden wave of homesickness Hanjin didn’t even realise he’d been feeling crashing down on him like an avalanche, suffocating him and tearing a pained sob from his throat. Hanjin wants to go home. He’s been trying so hard, these past few months, to convince himself that he /is/ home—that this place, this dorm, is where he really belongs—and that’s not entirely untrue, but it’s not the same. Of course it isn’t. He’s a thousand miles from the place he’s lived almost all his life, in a country where so little is familiar and even less makes sense, and it’s a constant fight just to make himself understood in normal conversation. He’s had to learn everything all over again, kicked back down to square one like a literal child, and it’s exhausting and humiliating and Hanjin just wants it all to /stop/. Or Hanjin feels homesick, but the other members are there to shower him in all of the love and care he deserves.
