Fics like i hope nobody catch us (but i kinda hope they catch us).

As Bridgette starts telling her, “I am not saying that!”, Brad tries to shut down his phone. In his haste, though, he accidentally turns off silent mode, and the room is suddenly filled with sharp, loud ringing, a different tone than Nicole’s, but recognizably the sound of a phone call. “Shit,” Brad curses under his breath, getting a harsh smack on the shoulder from Nicole as reprimand for speaking. But because of the skin-on-skin contact, it’s louder than she expects it to be, all too audible for Bridgette to hear. Brad quickly shuts off his phone and tosses it to the end of the bed, but the damage is done, and he and Nicole can only tense as Bridgette goes quiet. “Nicole,” Bridgette whispers into the phone conspiratorially. “Are you with someone right now?” Nicole looks at Brad, who has panic written all over his face. The answer is obvious. Of course she’s with someone right now. “No,” she hedges, wincing. “I’m… not with someone right now.” --- Nicole and Brad play a game during work every week. It was just a matter of time before they got caught.
