Fics like The pursuit of perfection

When a lifetime of shitty comments finally catches up to him on a fateful day at the beginning of summer break, Alfred is determined to fix his habits so he can feel comfortable in his body again. He doesn't consider it an 'eating disorder', but his eating habits are extremely disordered and his thoughts are no better. That doesn't concern him though, his only concern is that his efforts pay off in the end. No matter the means or the cost. He just tells himself that everything will all be worth it in the end, even if everything in his life goes to shit, one by one. Or, one day Alfred decides he looks fat and is determined to change that. Through whatever means necessary... starting a spiral that has him plummeting.
