Fics like Sometimes You Need A Break

“Sorry about that,” Crowley called out. There were two light thumps right when Peregrine took a small break from crying to actually breathe, and Aziraphale could almost see the demon toeing off the rubber gardening clogs he liked to wear for quick runs to pick fruit and vegetables, leaving them haphazardly on the mat. “Had to give the caladiums another damn stern talking to. Twats think they can get away with anything now that my visits are a bit more sporadic.” He walked into the living room, and a tiny part of Aziraphale appreciated that the old swing of his hips was as good as back barely four weeks after giving birth. The rest of him flared up in annoyance. Or Barely a month into parenthood, Aziraphale and Crowley are trying to deal with one of their son's worse days so far, as well as the pressure it puts on their relationship. Unfortunate things are said, but things do get figured out. Eventually. Like they always do. Part of my Unexpected Blessings series.
