Fics like You're Everything I Want (But I Never Thought I'd Find)

'“It’s all so fucking stupid, you know? Soulmates, soulmarks, the whole damn thing. Soulmates are supposed to be your perfect match; your other half...It’s supposed to be this big, beautiful thing and the system is fucking flawed. If two people who are supposed to be perfect for each other can’t make it work…” Alex isn’t going to finish that sentence. He’s been trying not to think about the words on his wrist all damn week. Every time the thought comes up, something deep twists in his gut. There’s a possibility that his soulmate might not even like him and what is he supposed to do with that? If the person that’s supposed to be ‘perfect’ for him doesn’t tolerate him, how will anyone else?" ______ OR; Alex has a complicated relationships with the words on his wrists. From the time Alex is eight and he first sees them, they make him feel uneasy. Then a gorgeous blond man comes crashing into his life and everything Alex thinks he knows about his 'destiny' is turned on its head.
