Fics like Fidelius: The Remaking of Remus Lupin

In one universe, Remus Lupin lets guilt and shame keep him from writing to Harry in the summer of ‘94. In this universe, he writes anyway, and in so doing, changes quite a lot. Or, Remus concludes that Harry needs a stable and caring adult in his life. He also concludes that he’s not up to the job, but there’s a surprising shortage of candidates, so he’s just going to have to become the person Harry needs.
