“You happy now?” Green frowns at Wadsworth and shrugs off his suit jacket, letting it fall to the floor. He straightens his tie, his movements a little clumsy. “Ecstatic,” Wadsworth crosses his legs as he watches the younger man with an appraising glance, staring him up and down consideringly. “That’s a nice suit.” Green blinks, surprised, then smiles for maybe the first time tonight. “Thank you! It used to be my old man’s but, uh, it was left with me when he passed. Ma tailored it up a little.” Wadsworth resists the urge to laugh at his genuine excitement at the compliment, instead grinning faintly and relaxing back into the couch. There’s a short, quiet pause as he considers the man in the armchair across from him. “C’mere.”
