Rick and Lori are separated, their marriage over and all Rick wants to do is get away for a while with his son and a few friends. They go camping in the woods just as the Zombie Apocalypse is in the beginning stages. Rick and friends encounter dangerous and harrowing situations on their way to finding sanctuary in Alexandria, Virginia. But their sanctuary is short lived as Negan and his gang finds the town and takes it over. Rick is taken prisoner by Negan and Maggie is taken as one of Negan’s wives. Rick and his people must find a way to win their freedom and the town back.
