Fics like Crimson

A young boy with power over blood, James Harrison takes up the life of a hero in a world ravaged by gang violence, crime, rampant commercialization of most super heroes, and nation-destroying attacks by creatures known as Deaths. His first stint at taking down a supervillain sees him being noticed by a powerful cape, dragging him straight into the middle of the cape scene's insanity, leaving him floundering for air. Watch as he travels across a cape-ravaged world, struggling to keep afloat amidst the power struggles, wars and violence inherent to the world of superheroes and supervillains. From the cultish Deathbringers, to the militaristic Fangs, to the rabid insanity of the Nine - each of them traversing his path, as he tries his best to stay alive and keep his friends together Abandoned, but most of the upcoming plot points have been listed, I’m always available if you have any questions, and the remake (Crimson Redux) will be up shortly
