Fics like Let Me Count the Ways

Sherlock has 42 freckles and 8 scars on his body. John knows this number by heart because he occasionally enjoys finding them all and kissing them. "“Hmm,” Sherlock hums, eyes taking on a mischievous glint, “Looks like you’ll have to pick a new favorite, then.” John flushes in embarrassment, “I don’t have a favorite freckle.” “Yes you do,” Sherlock smiles, “you preferred this one,” he says, using his left forefinger to point to the nearly faded mark on the knuckle at the base of his right middle finger, “because you liked to watch it move with the bones and tendons.” Sherlock is right, because of course he is." Basically I hadn't written any smut in awhile and it was calling to me.
