Fics like A Bubble Bath To Heal The Aches

”Fuck.” Soap shivered, hugging his body into himself. ”Everything alright?” Ghosts voice came from the doorway. Soaps eyes shot to him, seeing him dressed down a bit, “It’s fuckin cold.” He ground his teeth together to stop them from chattering, the bath water moving with his shivering. ”Yeah it’s cold, have you felt your own skin?” Ghost scoffed, coming to the edge of the tub and taking a seat like he had before, “Have you even felt how much of a fever you have?” Soap shook his head, he knew his skin felt like it would melt off if he got any hotter and he knew he felt sick, but having a fever never really entered his mind. Ghost gently pulled one of Soaps arms off his legs and trailed his hand up to Soaps hand. Soap let him, not sure he’d ever be able to fight the gentleness of the touch, the careful leading as Ghost brought the back of Soaps hand to his forehead—fuck it was hot… Or Soap gets something close to heat stroke and tries to take care of himself but Ghost steps in and doesn’t take Soaps bullshit.
