Harry goes home from a party with George, thinking he's hit the jackpot and George returns the feelings he's been trying to hide for the slightly older man. He's shocked and ashamed when he wakes up and George is gone. He didn't leave a note or anything. It only takes a few months before Harry finally realizes something is very wrong with him and goes to St. Mungo's and finds out exactly what it is. Hermione and Ron are the best friends he could ask for as they stay with him the whole time. Even Draco decides he has to help. If Harry is going to be dealing with being abandoned, then Draco is going to make so he at least has somewhere safe to live away from the school since Harry is his nephew's godfather. They make an odd family, but it's a very good one. Harry's quite happy with it. Even if George shows back up nearly 12 years later while Harry is taking his son and godson shopping for their first and fifth years that are starting soon.
