Cursing himself- his sorrow- as he accepts this finality, to close his eyes one final time and pray and wish that he'd forget it all. So, imagine his surprise when he wakes up breathlessly, in a dingy apartment somewhere in the city decades before he lost it all- Fixer's license waiting its use and a world untainted by his sins.
