Fics like Liquid Smooth

Wyatt thought back to their first meeting in Texas, before Doc had even met Kate. Thought of how his first impression of the sickly pale man he was led to in the back of the room was Christ ain’t he handsome. His second impression had come when Doc flashed that sharp grin of his and opened his mouth: He’s as dangerous as he is pretty. He remembered the indecision he’d felt on whether or not to track the man down for an evening, standing on the precipice. The memory of the man’s hands as he shuffled a deck of cards idly, thin and long and calloused like his, was the tipping point. -- How Doc and Wyatt find their way back to each other through the events of Tombstone.
