Fics like A Star to Guide You

Sol Star and Seth Bullock meet as young men helping wrangle cattle. What starts as a beneficial arrangement for survival - tending to each other's injuries, sharing a pup tent and looking out for each other among older men that sometimes lack moral scruples - slowly evolves into using each other for physical comfort. Can the young men overcome their own issues and attitudes of the time to admit to themselves - let alone each other - that their relationship runs much deeper than mutual aid in a hard, cold frontier rife with danger?
