Fics like peeling oranges
The first time Soap opened his door to see a plate of orange slices at his feet, he dismissed it without thinking twice. Plenty of soldiers were known for taking extra food back with them from the mess. When they suddenly decided not to indulge anymore, it was common for them to offload everything and continue on their way. Sure, the slices were perfectly aligned in front of Soap’s door, but that had to be where his involvement ended, right? or Soap takes an interest in the Orange Peel Theory, coincidently around the time that orange slices begin following him around base.
