Fics like Black Dreams

“I’m having a bad dream,” he whispers. His eyes flutter shut and he can see it clearly: everyone huddled together drinking tiredly after a long day, grateful to be together, identical to the room they’re all in, but unlike the real party and Minseok’s real living room, behind his eyelids, Baekhyun knows something horrible is about to happen. He opens his eyes. Junmyeon is looking at him more seriously now, still smiling because Junmyeon always smiles when he gets to learn new things about Baekhyun, but this smile is sharper, and Junmyeon’s eyes have an edge to them as if he’s assessing a situation. “You wanna tell me about it?” He asks, and his voice is a little deeper in his chest, rumbling underneath Baekhyun’s ear. -- Or; Baekhyun always hopes for a black dream.
