So, to paint the scene: Lance. Down-on-his-luck, fighting in the streets, full-time line cook and part-time thief, Lance. That Lance Durand. Nineteen. Only child to Isolde Durand. Dad walked out, either by going through the door or a knife in the chest. Whichever his imagination agreed with, depending on the night. An unknown, truly, not one for a past of pasts. When he gets a mysterious letter telling him about said "past", alerting him of a newly deceased father and his alive siblings, along with the note of how truly expensive the ink of that letter is, he's drawn into the web. Lance plans to just steal some shit, taking the opportunity… but he soon finds that his brothers aren't one for letting the past go. Or him, for that matter.
