Fics like Hummingbird

While hummingbirds can be devoted to their family, particularly their young, they are known to be both highly aggressive and anti-social. They are the only birds able to fly backwards and even upside down. Tim's mission has never been the same as the rest of the Bats. He knows he doesn't fight for justice, or peace, or control, or proving something. He doesn't have Dick's goodwill or Damians need to prove something. He doesn't have Jason's connection or Oracle's duty. Hell, he doesn't even have Bruce's own mission in mind when he fights. He fights because he protects what is his, and he has dug his claws into this family. Except, maybe he's not theirs anymore, maybe he never was. Or: Tim realizes he's lost everything he has never had, then gets sucked 20 years into the past by the creepy old guy and decides to pull everything together, including himelf.
