Fics like A place to stay warm

“Miss Gordon? What are you doing out in this weather?” “The Drake heater's broken,” she stammered, sniffling. “I tried to tell them there was a problem, but they didn't listen to me. I tried my best, but today it's so cold, and Tim has a high fever, there's no medicine, I don't know what to do and..." “Barbara?” a familiar voice interrupted her. Dick was immediately next to Alfred, and his eyes widened at the sight of Tim, "That's..." “Yes, it's Tim Drake. He is sick. Do you want us to stay outside the door or can we come in?” she blurted out, irritated. -- Barbara believed that working for a wealthy Bristol couple was an easy job that wouldn't stop her from being Batgirl at night, despite her father's wishes. She hadn't reckoned with the Drakes.
