Fics like Rose's Rowdies

Ruby Rose, the leader of Rose's Rowdies, is an unusual mercenary: she has high ethical standards; a tendency to go hungry for upholding said high standards; and the scariest forty tons of BattleMech on any battlefield she joins. Unfortunately for her and the Rowdies, these qualities draw the attention of ComStar, the galactic communications monopoly, and pull them into a long-running struggle straight out of a fairy tale. Or, strapping our heroines into big stompy robots and seeing what happens. (No prior knowledge of RWBY required for Battletech readers; for RWBY readers, anything pertinent will be explained.)
