Fics like some sugar

Your simple life as an employee of what used to be an S-Mart is turned on its head when Evil incarnate is released upon the world. In the attempt to stop it and save humanity, you’re accompanied by your close friend (who may or may not be infatuated with you), a drug addicted alcoholic bartender, and a chainsaw wielding maniac suspected of killing his own friends in a cabin thirty years ago. As your reluctant friendship with the infamous Ashy Slashy of legend grows into something sweeter, you realize that your life has unwittingly become one hell of a romcom.
