Fics like A Death, A Life, A Very Bad Time
This life, or at least all he remembers of it, has been nothing but pain and trouble. First he wakes up with nothing to say for who he is and not even a single coin to his name. A name he isn't even sure is his, seriously what kind of last name is Kokohead? He learned he can't die, cause apparently he formed a pact with a Death God and now can't die by any means aside from getting said Death God to kill him, in which she refuses despite the fact he was literally burning to death. Now nothing much but a shambling charred zombie(?) of a human detective, he really doesn't actually want to do this detective stuff anymore and really wants to go sleep for the next year- This scarred, trembling ball with limbs is Yuma, and he just wants to be left alone. But apparently a mangled burn scar of a human the size of most kids attracts quite a bit of attention from other Master Detectives called to this ward. He doesn't need 'help' thank you very much, he's doing fine on his own reluctantly solving mysteries and becoming a cryptic legend! That's fine, he's fine. And would be doing much better if he was left alone!
